Fall is most certainly here.

Well, more accurately the COLD part of Fall is here now. I truly love snow, but the couple inches of snow the other day was a depressing! I have a number of projects around the house (outside) that I am still not done with yet, so I am looking forward to this warmer temps this weekend so I can have a repreave and get some things done so I can keep up with my neighbors!

It is the time of year for holiday decorating, shopping, and events. There is a whole lot going on, especially in downtown Chaska this weekend with Food Trucks, Live Music, Local Shops, and craftspeople rolling out the "Holiday Carpet".

We also have a bit of a fun "nostalgic" bonus this week, as there is "the first of the season" Lutefisk Dinner at Bethlehem Lutheran Church coming up this Saturday in SW Minneapolis.

You will need tickets!

-------- ------ --------- ----------- ------- ----------

As we enter November, it will be interesting to see if the traditional seasonal cycle continues in MN. Where the homes that are hitting the market have a high likelihood of longer market times, and weaker prices.

We have not experienced that. The primary reason is the supply and demand concept. It applies to homes as well. There is not enough homes on the market to satisfy the demand, and has not been for several years now.

This month will actually mark the 9 year anniversary of the real estate market becoming a "sellers" market when the housing "supply sold in time to satisfy current buyer demand" statistic, called the "saturation rate" slipped under the 4 month mark. As of today November 2, the saturation rate is 1.8 months in the southwest metro.

How can Stieg be a help,
even if you don't feel "ready"?

"The first step in getting where you
want to be is the will to do it"

Today, the real estate market is pulling from a lot of different directions. Homeowners need current, pragmatic, and unhyped feedback about potential home investments (dealing with deferred maintenance and cosmetics) and what likely return for their time, effort, and money can be realistically anticipated.

I spend many hours over long periods of time in person, email, and on the phone providing value and confidence to homeowners at no cost.
Let me do that for you, it is at the core of what I call... Showing Up, Working Hard, Every Day. & Long before the sale.

So invite me to your home. I will drink your coffee, tea, or tap water, and take a brief tour with you. Then, we will discuss your plans and I listen to you carefully as I know some agent's simply don't listen and only want to talk about themselves. No "dog and pony show", just me with my legal pad and clipboard.

I will then leave, almost always before I am asked, and prepare a report for you to inform and help you make the best decisions possible to fit your wants and needs.
